A great night of boxing it was at South Wharf Road, South Bank in the heart of Melbourne.

Julian Holland once Australian and Commonwealth (British Empire) Titleholder successfully ran a great fightnight and promised more to come to help Victorian professional Boxing.

Sensational fighter Lance Gostelow knocked Abesia to the canvas momentarily in the second stanza but didn't warrant a count, however Gostelow also very briefly got knocked down and was up like a flash and made Abesia pay the price as seen in the barrage served shown in the lower left photo.

Lance continued his punishing stance and left the referee Jim Boland no choice but to stop the fight.

Brad Milner and Paul Thorneycroft fought a very busy fight and had all the fans on their feet for the whole fight with Brad looking too strong for Paul. The alarming photo of the floored boxer was Thorneycroft but he got up at the count of 9 after which the bell rung to indicate the finale of the contest.

Glen Marks 62.50kgs Win On Points Over Dan Cody 62.00kgs
Score: 39/37, 39/35, 40/37.

Glen Marks fought well to stay ahead of Dan Cody and improved as time went by.

The last round saw Dan get tired early and Glen won it easily.
