NEW GLOVES FOR MAIN EVENTS
where cuts are prevalent ...
YVB have noticed that at times
previously used gloves are being used by local
promotions in Victoria.
It has always been good practice
to use brand new gloves as the very likely
chance of severe cuts above the eyes is as
possible eliminated.
YVB now offer all leading
promoters free of charge 4 new sets for use in
the main event and main supporting fights.
This gives the promoters a chance
to hand the gloves down to the preliminary
fights where the danger is not so severe.
This was a method used by
Stadiums Ltd. back in the late 50's and early
60's when YV was participating in the sport.
