Ringside promotions proudly
present "Double Destruction" December 3, Coburg Town
Blake Caparello takes on the
current Australian Light Heavy weight champion Shane
McConville over ten rounds. Blake has worked his way
through the rankings this year and has been rewarded
with a shot at Aussie title. McConville will bring
his unbeaten record to Melbourne and is confident he
can once again defend his title successfully but
Blake has different ideas. He intends on breaking
McConville's winning streak by capturing the title
and securing his place in Australian boxing history.
This will be a great fight which I believe it will
go to the wire.
Serge Yannick returns to Coburg
to defend his PABA Super Middleweight interim title
which he won as the main event on the "Jungle Fever"
fight night on October 1. His opponent and
challenger will be Togasilimai Letoa from Samoa.
Letoa has a record of 11 wins and 4 losses. All his
losses have been to world rated opponents and I'm
sure the south paw slugger will come to Coburg to
take home the belt. Yannick has the advantage of
having current PABA Light Heavyweight champion Joel
Casey as a stable mate who will provide the much
needed south paw sparring in preparation for his
title defense. Yannick is proving to be one of the
most exciting fighters in Australia and I am quite
sure that this 12 round contest will be action
packed from the first bell until the last.
On the undercard we will see
Joel Casey fight an 8 rounder which will be a warm
up fight before his scheduled PABA mandatory title
defense against Las Vegas based Gayrat Ahmedov who
is ranked at number 8 in the WBA world ratings and
is underfeated in 15 outings having stopped 10 of
his opponents within the scheduled rounds.
Also on the card we will see
Even Themelakis defend his Victorian Super
Middleweight title which he acquired with a stoppage
win against Paul Bourke on October 1. Evan is a hard
hitting fighter who has successfully climbed the
kick boxing ranks and now is starting to make his
mark in the boxing circles. Local Junior
Middleweight Faisal Fayad will open the show with a
6 round bout. Faisal suffered his first defeat in
pro boxing recently and I am quite sure he will want
to avenge that loss with a good performance.
Tickets are selling fast for
this show so if you would like to attend please
contact me via email or telephone and I can arrange
for your tickets to be set aside. Ticket prices are
$150 for table seating which includes a meal, beer,
wine and soft drinks. Tables consist of ten seats
but it is not necessary to fill the entire table and
single or multiple tickets are available. I also
have a very limited amount of general seating
tickets available at $50 or general standing tickets
I have tried very hard to bring
boxing back to the northern suburbs this year and I
am pleased to say that the response has been
fantastic. This will be my fourth show since July
and attendances have steadily increased at each
show. I would like to thank all that have supported
me so far and look forward to seeing as many of you
as possible at "Double Destruction" December 3.
