Here you can donate towards Young Victor's yearly award for Fighter
of the Year.
YV has not been able to keep up the expense recently so a bit of help
may make all the difference.
As you all know boxing is a hard game to maintain the wish to become
a champion, so winning this trophy will help any worthy boxer to uphold
his spirit.
As you know I think very highly of the trophy I received from the
Past and Present Boxers Association (donated by the respected Mr. Harry
Hammond) in 1960.
I may add that Mr. Hammond was a dentist and made my professional
mouth guards freely as they were very expensive and I could not afford
to get them especially made.
I would have had to settle for plastic ones sold at sports shops for
about 60 cents.
Six shillings in those days.
Money left over will be contributed to the running of YVB and passed
on to the Victorian Past and Present Boxers Association.
